I enjoyed your lesson on elements of a plot very much. I especially liked reading the short story. I had never heard of it or read it before but it was really good. It served as a good example for your exercise in identifying the plot elements. The individual worksheet was challenging and fun and a very useful way for students to practice what they learned. I cannot think of anything I would change about your lesson. You were very polished and professional. Great work Laura!
Your lesson was a good one. The short story was interesting and challenging for the students to diagram. The individual practices was a fun way to introduce creative writing to your students in a way that wasn't overwhelming and helped to organize their story elements. The only criticism is that you didn't have enough handouts for the class. Overall it was a well done lesson.
Laura, I must say I cannot think of anything negative to say about your lesson. The story choice was great and I love the plot diagram. Its a great way to break out the story. My kids were also a big fan of your lesson as well and I appreciate the focus you gave to them to make sure they understood what was going on and how to do it. I think you'll be a great teacher.
Laura, I really enjoyed your lesson. You had a very calm and collected demeanor. The graphic organizer that you handed out for identifying the key elements of the story were extremely helpful. I also enjoyed listening to the positive reinforcement that you gave your students as they worked independently.
